  • Upon completing your course, you will be a Certified Instructor in the style you trained in (Pilates Mat, Reformer). While there is currently no Australian or global regulatory or governing body for Pilates, we made the decision to become AusActive Recognised to support the push towards regulating the Pilates industry. Being recognised by AusActive is a significant step in ensuring that the industry maintains high standards and professionalism.

AusActive Recognition offers a number of benefits:

    • Credibility and Industry Trust: AusActive is the peak industry body for fitness and physical activity in Australia. Being recognised by them means your certification is held to a high standard and is trusted by employers and clients.

    • Access to Professional Development: As a member of the AusActive community, you'll have access to resources, events, and ongoing education to further enhance your skills and career opportunities.

    • Insurance Benefits: Many insurance providers require instructors to have AusActive Recognition to obtain comprehensive coverage. This recognition helps ensure that you are adequately insured while working as a Pilates instructor.

To start teaching, you will need your Train Me Certificate, First Aid, and CPR certifications. Once you have those, you can obtain insurance and begin teaching with confidence, knowing that your training is recognised and respected in the industry.

  • That’s totally fine, you’ll be given a link to book into your Make Up Session with your Head Educator.

    Session Structure & Cost:

    • 1 x Full Missed Face-To-Face Day = 2 Hours 1:1 Intensive

    • Leaving Early or Arriving Late to a Face-To-Face Day = 1 Hour 1:1 Intensive

    • The Cost is $150.00 per hour

    • Payments must be made in full upon time of booking, bookings will be available depending on your Head Educators Availability

  • Yes, it is possible to fail your submissions. Students will only pass once their educator feels they are "studio ready" — meaning they are capable of being hired on the spot as a professional instructor.

You will be given 3 official attempts to pass each submission. After your third attempt, if further submissions are required, you will be asked to complete a 1:1 intensive 2-hour session with your head educator. This session, which is at an additional cost for makeup sessions, will provide you with focused attention to help you improve and get you to the standard needed to pass. The goal is to ensure you are fully prepared to teach confidently and competently in the studio environment.
